I think this book is beautiful, the photos are lovely, and the text is down-home and fun, and at the same time, very gracious. You really get a feel for Savannah, and for the South in general (at least the South we all imagine exists). If you like Paula's style, you'll like this book - and I do!

Disappointing!

I did not find this book inspiring in the least. Just a look of pictures and not very good ones. Not what I expected from Paula Deen. I thought it would be be instructional. Very Disappointed! Glad I returned it.

If you are familiar at all with Paula Deen, you know that this is her style. The pictures are beautiful and this is a great refererance book if you are looking to design in the Southern/Savannah style.
